Initially approved for clinical use in Uganda and Tanzania, PRISMS has since gained widespread adoption, facilitating the care of over 120,000 infants across these two countries. At its core, PRISMS is tailored for quality improvement initiatives, remote clinical consultations, and fostering collaborative learning among healthcare professionals spanning different geographic locations. This is made possible through its user-friendly dashboard, which streamlines access to critical information and facilitates data-driven decision-making. Functioning as a digital tool, PRISMS offers a structured framework for newborn assessment, empowering healthcare providers with instant, validated clinical management decisions. Moreover, it seamlessly aggregates data on the quality of care delivered, facilitating real-time bedside quality improvement efforts.
