iKnowFarm is a mobile application revolutionizing agriculture in Uganda by empowering farmers, especially small-scale ones, with the knowledge and resources they need to improve their livelihoods. The iKnowFarm app provides offline access to agricultural information, covering crop & livestock management, market prices, and weather information. Farmers can freely network through a built-in forum and market their farm products on the marketplace. The app also provides access to a variety of high-quality and affordable climate-resilient and organic inputs.
My product is iKnowFarm, a mobile application in Uganda that allows farmers to access free farming and market information, order agro-inputs, and learn from other farmers. Through the services on iKnowFarm, farmers can realize up to a 30% increase in their revenue.
Through the AFRICA TECH STARTUP FORUM, we aim to achieve our core objectives of expanding our network within the agricultural industry, attracting investors for our €200,000 seed funding round, and receiving valuable feedback to refine our business model for long-term sustainability.
