Kiddie Tech Ville is an Edtech Startup that makes coding and robotics education accessible and affordable for children ages 6-16 across Africa. Founded with the mission to empower the next generation of tech leaders, Kiddie Tech Ville offers a range of interactive and engaging programs designed to teach young learners the fundamentals of coding, robotics, and other tech skills as well as providing affordable hardware kits for our learners. We aim to bridge the digital divide fostering critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills by leveraging on both online and in-person resources.
At Kiddie Tech Ville, we offer a diverse range of interactive and engaging programs designed to teach young learners the fundamentals of coding, robotics, and other essential tech skills. Our curriculum is tailored to cater for different age groups and learning paces, ensuring that every child thrives and develops their potentials. Our programs include coding for Kids: an introduction to programming languages and concepts, designed to build a strong foundation in coding through fun and interactive lessons; robotics workshops: hands-on sessions where children can design, build, and program their own robots, fostering creativity and practical problem-solving skills; tech explorers: a comprehensive course covering various aspects of technology, from web development to game design, encouraging kids to explore and innovate; affordable hardware Kits: understanding the importance of hands-on experience, we provide affordable hardware kits that complement our educational programs. These kits include everything needed for children to build and experiment with technology at home, enhancing their learning experience and allowing for continuous practice; bridging the technology gap of kids in Africa: Kiddie Tech Ville is dedicated to providing high-quality tech education to children who might otherwise lack access.
Our goals include: to leverage both online and in-person resources to ensure that our programs are available to a broad audience, regardless of their location or economic background; to foster essential skills by ensuring that not only technology skills are taught but that see that critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving abilities are enhanced in kids. We believe these skills are crucial for the success of our learners. We look forward to participating in the Africa Tech Startup forums’ workshops, seminars, and networking events in order to showcase services and also gain from the resources, networking and mentorship that the forum offers. The Africa Tech Startup Forum will also give us the opportunity to discuss our progress and growth as well as showcase our innovative solutions and connect with potential partners and collaborators who share our vision for transforming education in Africa.
