At Pysis Technologies, we’re leading agricultural innovation with our flagship products, Fishdey and the Smart Pond (SP). Fishdey.com serves as a commercial component supporting Smart Pond’s intervention for fish farmers, facilitating direct transactions and streamlining the supply chain. While Fishdey is integral, it leverages the capabilities of our Smart Pond solution, which is the theme product for this application. The Smart Pond is a full-scale IoT solution that optimizes and automates fish farming processes. Functioning as a Smart AI Fish Farming Co-pilot, SP synchronizes various accessories into a unified system, providing real-time precision-based guidance to farmers. When deployed in a pond and integrated with supported accessories such as solenoid valves, temperature sensors, auto feeders, aerators, dissolved oxygen sensors, etc., the SP has proven to reduce the mortality rate, water and feed wastage, human participation, and power consumption, thereby reducing the operation cost of fish farming by up to 32.7%. Users access the system through the SP app, enabling remote control and data-informed support. The app also offers easily monitorable credit facilities, leveraging SP IoT data. Its modular design ensures affordability and scalability for African fish farmers, pioneering novel capabilities.
Despite making significant progress with limited funds, developing a hardware tech product like the Smart Pond entails considerable costs and intricacies. We are confident that the support from the AFRICA TECH STARTUP FORUM will enable us to propel the Smart Pond towards its final product launch by October 2024. Our goal is to scale up our operations, enhancing the final modification of our Minimum Viable Product (MVP) to meet commercial and industrial standards. Additionally, it will facilitate the production of new Smart Pond units to meet growing demand.
