We achieve this by localizing our product to cut costs on manufacturing and improving the usage of affordable components such as your CPU with our custom android software.Currently there are international brands of smartphones which are either too costly or pose a huge risk in terms of security, standards etc. We aim to solve this problem by providing an option which is the Shumiphone which is locally owned and will comply with security regulations in South Africa and provide a high performing device at a lower price that provides the same output as high-end devices that cost more than the price of our mobile device. Our product the Shumiphone provides high performance at an affordable price using the best software to maximize hardware performance competing with high end devices, performance such as speed, durability, and storage. Thatha has so far achieved Incubation with the Innovation Hub and 4IRI and partnered up with big Telecom such as MTN and Telkom and Government institutions such as National Treasury and DIGITECH to supply devices. We have currently sold over 4500+ devices so far.
