Step-by-Step Guide to Registering on the ENGAGE B2B Matchmaking Platform 

Step 1: Head over to our B2B Matchmaking Platform

  • Note that if you bought a delegate pass or are a confirmed Hosted Buyer you will be pre-registered and have had an email sent to you.  

 

Step 2: Login or Register

  • If you are not registered please Click on the hyperlinked word “Register” 
  • Fill in your basic information, such as your name, email address, and contact details.
  • Review and accept the terms and conditions.
  • Click “Finish” to complete your registration.

 

Step 3: Verify Your Email Address

  • Check your email inbox for a verification email from the ENGAGE platform.
  • Open the email and click on the verification link provided and you will be taken to a page to setup you password
  • Create password and once Verified, you will be redirected back to the platform.

 

Step 4: Complete Your Profile

  • Log in to the platform using your username and password.
  • Navigate to your profile section which is you headshot icon at the top right of the page.
  • Fill out your company information, including name, industry, and a brief description of your business.
  • Upload a professional profile picture and your company logo.
  • Add your key interests and the types of business connections you are looking to make at the African Tech event.

 

Step 5: Explore the Attendee Directory

  • Once your profile is complete, go to the attendee directory.
  • Browse through the list of delegate attendees to find potential business matches.
  • Use the search and filter options to narrow down attendees based on industry, interest, or business needs.

 

Step 6: Send Meeting Requests

  • Click on the ENGAGE tab on the left and this will help you start sourcing the right matches
  • If you find a suitable match, click the “Request Meeting” button.
  • Include a Meeting title  introducing yourself and stating the purpose of the meeting
  • Select a preferred date and time from the available slots.
  • Click “Save” to finalize the meeting request.

 

Step 7: Manage Your Meetings

  • Go to the “Calendar” tab to view your scheduled meetings.
  • Accept or decline incoming meeting requests.
  • Keep track of your meeting schedule and make any necessary adjustments.
  • When a meeting is confirmed it will send you an attachment to add to your personal calendar

 

Step 8: Engage with Delegates

  • As meetings are confirmed, prepare for your discussions by researching the attendees and their businesses.
  • Attend your in-person meetings at the scheduled times to engage with potential partners and explore business opportunities.

By following these steps, you’ll be ready to start engaging with delegate attendees and making meaningful connections at the Africa Tech event.
